Prof. Dr. Elmar Wienecke

Prof. Dr. Elmar Wienecke is managing partner of SALUTO Gesellschaft für Sport und Gesundheit GmbH. He is a qualified sports teacher and holds a doctorate in sports science, obtained in the field of sports medicine, cardiology, training and exercise science at the German Sport University Cologne. He has held a Bundesliga football coaching licence since 1989. For several years he was a coach in regional league clubs and, for a short time, also in the 2nd Bundesliga. After finishing his coaching career, he founded SALUTO. His holistic energy concepts benefit top athletes (Olympic, world and European champions), recreational and competitive athletes, people in prevention and rehabilitation as well as managers and non-athletes. He is the initiator of the first master’s-degree programme in micronutrient therapy & regulation medicine at the Fachhochschule des Mittelstands (FHM) Bielefeld, where he holds an endowed professorship for sport, nutrition and regulation medicine. The Foundation for Health and Environment awarded him the innovation prize for outstanding research, development and practical implementation of micronutrient therapy.
